Monday - time to get work done!

Like every other business person, Mondays are the start of a new week. I am back in the studio after a restful Fourth of July weekend. Here are few shots of me working in my studio with the wonderful north light shining in. I am working on a few commissioned "Billy Boot" paintings for some new patrons from North Carolina. They asked for a North Carolina Boot with references to the lighthouses on the shore, and for a Texas Boot with references to the TX Lone Star Flag and the Space Shuttlle. I painted the ground of the canvases with a bright orange with will help solidify the two paintings as a pair. Starting Mondays off with work is a great way to get back in the groove and get my painting talents tuned up. I welcome visitors to my studio either when I am there working or by appointment.
